DigiExam closed 2016 with major awards and opportunities and is poised for even more recognition in 2017.

In December, DigiExam was honored to win the Gold Award in Learning Assessment from Reimagine, the prestigious global awards for innovative higher education pedagogies which enhance learning and employability. The award signifies the company’s leadership and innovation in using technology to change the way learning progress is measured and enhance the experience of both teaching and learning.

“It’s a great recognition for us and for our team,” said DigiExam CEO Johan Hägglund. “Reimagine awards are highly coveted and a signal for the education community and winning gold is a great way to end the year and prepare for 2017.”

But before the curtain officially fell on 2016, DigiExam had yet another high-profile recognition and opportunity – taking the stage to present to an audience of select investors and industry leaders at NY EDTECH WEEK. DigiExam was one of just 11 companies selected to participate in the Late Stage Shark Tank presentations during the global education innovation festival.

And those honors may well preview similar successes in 2017 as DigiExam has been named a finalist for three awards to be presented later this month.

DigiExam is among eight finalists for the Bett Award in the International Digital Education Resource and in the Higher Education / Further Education Digital Services categories. Formerly the British Educational Training and Technology Show, the Bett Award is considered by many to be the most esteemed accolade in the industry. The Bett Awards provide a showcase of resources and companies that seek to provide educators with the information, ideas and inspiration that are fundamental to the learning process.  The awards will be presented January 25th in London.

“Merely being a Bett finalist is a great honor,” Hägglund said. “And we’re very proud of the way our company and our products are changing the education environment and we are very excited for the final award announcements.”
