Pepperdine Graziadio Business School Announces Name Change
LOS ANGELES — Pepperdine Graziadio School of Business and Management announces today that we will be named the Pepperdine Graziadio Business School. This important shift enables the school to maintain its strong Pepperdine association, special connection to the Graziadio name, and also enhances brand consistency and reference across multiple contexts, such as marketing, news media and event references.
The renaming is one of the first steps outlined in Dean Van Rensburg’s vision for the business school in a comprehensive strategic plan called ASPIRE 2025, developed in anticipation of the 50th anniversary of the Graziadio School. This bold plan, is inspired by Pepperdine Graziadio School’s Christian values and sets a clear path toward promoting transformational learning, creating knowledge that positively impacts business and equipping our students to become best for the world business leaders.
“Along with the name change this announcement also affirms our desire to act with one vision of the future,” said Deryck J. van Rensburg, dean, Pepperdine Graziadio Business School. “Our aim is to help students become Best for the World Leaders who inspire meaningful change in their communities through professional business practices.”
Alumni, faculty, staff and others who interact and follow Pepperdine Graziadio Business School may continue to see the old wordmark as we work through materials. The school expects the transition to Pepperdine Graziadio Business School to be complete by August 1, 2018.
