The Learning and Performance Institute, a UK-based outfit that reviews and accredits corporate and professional training and education providers globally, is out with its coveted Top 20 Learning Providers listing.
“Since 1995, the Learning and Performance Institute has consulted with, evaluated, and mentored thousands of organisations world-wide to help them build internal capability and deliver notable performance improvement,” Edmund Monk, CEO of The Learning and Performance Institute wrote in a letter announcing the winners.
The announcement letter also says that 20 named companies, “provide the highest quality of service and the best user experience. They are trusted business partners, acting always in the best interests of their clients and, as such, fully endorsed by the Learning and Performance Institute.”
The awards, considered the “gold standard” in corporate training and skill building, review “8 key performance indicators” and several sub-categories such as client integrity, live learning, online learning, content, quality management and business stability.
In addition to some brand name providers such as Pitney Bowes, Capgemini and New Horizons Computer Learning Centers, the winners are: acuma, afiniti, appetite, emphasis training, fuse universal, GP strategies, happy, Hemsley Fraser, imparta, The Knowledge Group, Knowledgepool, Learn Box, Newtyne, NIIT, Overlap, Phoenix Solutions, QA and Zonal.
One of the winners, Learn Box, “believe[s] the best ideas are born outside of the classroom. They provide an alternative method of learning, one that’s not confined by classroom walls or time restraints. LearnBox strive[s] to make the learner experience engaging, enjoyable and beneficial, which is reflected through their outstanding results,” according to the award package.
New Horizons, the package says, “provides measurable return on any company’s training investment” and “combines the resources of the world’s largest IT training company with the responsiveness of a local partner.” New Horizons is certified as a Microsoft Partner with a Gold Learning competency and also partners with companies such as AXELOS, Cisco, CompTIA, and VMware.
