DigiArmorX Launches Digital Safety Platform Inspired by a Parent’s Real-WorldExperience

Nidhi Srivastava

Nidhi Srivastava is a cybersecurity leader, TEDx Speaker, author, researcher, and founder of DigiArmorX. After watching her own child encounter online scams and cyberbullying, she became passionate about helping children, families, and schools build safer digital habits through practical, age-appropriate education.

ROCHESTER HILLS, Michigan – June 24, 2026 – As a cybersecurity professional, I’ve spent years helping organizations manage cyber risks. But it wasn’t until my own child encountered online scams and cyberbullying that I realized something important: children are facing many of the same digital risks adults face, often without the knowledge or confidence to respond safely.

Like many parents, I assumed parental controls and monitoring tools would be enough. What I learned was that technology can only do so much. Children also need the skills to recognize risks, make good decisions, and navigate the digital
world independently.

That experience led me to create DigiArmorX, an AI-powered digital safety platform designed for students in Grades 3–8.

DigiArmorX helps children learn about cyberbullying, online scams, phishing, gaming safety, digital citizenship, AI-generated content, privacy, and responsible technology use through interactive lessons, stories, quizzes, games, and hands-on activities.

The platform also provides dashboards and insights for parents, teachers, and schools so they can support students along the way. The goal is simple: help children become safer, more confident digital citizens before problems occur.

Today, schools teach students how to stay safe in the physical world through fire drills, safety procedures, and emergency preparedness. Yet many children spend hours online every day without receiving the same level of preparation for digital
environments.

DigiArmorX was built to help close that gap.

The platform combines age-appropriate learning with AI-powered personalization to adapt lessons based on a student’s progress and understanding. Schools can monitor engagement, parents can reinforce learning at home, and students can build practical skills that apply to their everyday online experiences.

In addition to founding DigiArmorX, I have authored children’s cybersecurity books including BrightShield Digital Defenders and Growing Safe Digital Minds, delivered a TEDx talk focused on digital safety education, and presented research on cybersecurity and education at international conferences.

DigiArmorX is currently seeking pilot schools, educators, parent organizations, and community partners interested in helping shape the future of digital safety education.

Every child learns how to cross a street safely. My belief is that every child should also learn how to navigate the digital world safely.
