VentureLab announced its third annual gala, “Ready, Set, Startup!” will take place the evening of Saturday, April 6, 2024 at the new Atlassian campus in East Austin, in support of VentureLab’s mission to create the next generation of diverse innovators and changemakers by making entrepreneurial education accessible to all youth. Ready, Set, Startup!, presented by Brown Advisory, is a one-of-a-kind community celebration to connect, collaborate, and celebrate the entrepreneurial spirit while raising funds to provide all students access to achieve their fullest potential and shape the future by diversifying the entrepreneurial landscape and making entrepreneurship accessible to all.
“James and I are delighted to serve as honorary chairs for Ready, Set, Startup!” says Kellie Zesch Weir, CFA, Portfolio Manager, and Head of Austin Office at Brown Advisory. “Encouraging girls and underrepresented youth to pursue entrepreneurship is a cause very near and dear to us, our family and our broader community.”
